Kirk Herbstreit always identifies the teams, players, and coaches in college football that impress him the most after each week. The analyst had plenty to choose from after Week 13 was one of the wildest of the season.

When it came to teams, Herbstreit identified 7 that were the most impressive. Three of these teams are from the SEC, 2 are from the Big 12, 1 is from the B1G, and 1 is from the Pac-12.

At the No. 1 spot, Herbstreit went with Oklahoma. The Sooners shocked the nation by upsetting Alabama and handing the Tide their 3rd loss of the season. The Sooners held Alabama to 3 points, which was their lowest point total in 20 years.

At No. 2, Herbstreit went with another SEC team that pulled off a huge upset- Florida. The Gators knocked off Ole Miss, seemingly ending the Rebels’ College Football Playoff hopes. Auburn came in at No. 3 on the list after pulling off an upset of their own, knocking off Texas A&M in 4OT.

Next, Herbstreit went with 2 Big 12 teams in Kansas and Arizona State. The Jayhawks earned another ranked win by defeating Colorado and the Sun Devils beat BYU to stay alive in the Big 12 championship race.

Ohio State secured the No. 6 spot after thoroughly dominating Indiana in a top-5 showdown. Finally, Herbstreit went with Oregon State at No. 7 after the Beavers knocked off their rivals Oregon State.
