Kirk Herbstreit takes notice of Tennessee’s latest win, praises Hendon Hooker

Kirk Herbstreit took notice of Tennessee’s big win over Kentucky on Saturday as QB Hendon Hooker shined with several big passing plays.
Hooker threw a career-high 4 touchdown passes, and Tennessee held off the Wildcats in a back-and-forth affair and 45-42 result on Saturday night to halt a two-game losing streak.
The ESPN analyst noted that Hooker continues to be very efficient, and the Vols are playing with confidence ahead of the game against Georgia this week.

The Vols looked great on offense coming out of the bye, as they kept pace with the Cats in a game where the border rivals combined for 1,073 yards. They needed just 4 plays and 37 seconds to score their first two TDs, then scored in 16 seconds for a go-ahead field goal before halftime, and used only 37 seconds on the way to another go-ahead touchdown in the third quarter.
