Week 12 of the 2019 season is over and done, so now we’re back to debating who the best teams in the nation currently are.
All of the current top 6 teams in the College Football Playoff rankings won on Saturday, although Alabama lost star QB Tua Tagovailoa to an injury.
Heading into Week 13, ESPN’s Kirk Herbstreit updated his list of top 6 teams, and he has 3 SEC teams in the mix — Alabama at No. 5, Georgia at No. 4 and LSU at No. 1:

Those rankings reflect the current CFP rankings, so it’ll be interesting to see if the CFP committee keeps things the same after Tua’s injury.
Tuesday’s rankings show is sure to once again spark some controversy, so we’ll see what happens moving forward.
