TCU and Utah, after close wins, are just outside Herbstreit’s final four. Unbeaten LSU and Clemson, coming off dominant victories, get in at Nos. 3 and 4.
Trailing 35-17 at halftime on the road against Kansas State, Horned Frogs quarterback Trevone Boykin led a spirited rally and helped TCU score five touchdowns after intermission to stave off the upset bid.
