Kison Shepard, elite OT out of Tennessee, announces SEC commitment

Kison Shepard, a 6-foot-5 and 315-pound offensive tackle out of Germantown, Tennessee, has committed to play in the SEC.
Shepard announced on social media that he would play at Mississippi State after he was recruited by Mike Schmidt. Shepard is a 3-star recruit and ranked the No. 99 player at his position according to the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 40 player in the state of Tennessee. He has a reported 17 offers, and chose the Bulldogs over Florida, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M, among others.
Shepard’s addition is the third offensive tackle to commit to the Bulldogs’ 2024 class after fellow 3-star recruits TJ Lockhart and Luke Work.
MSU’s 2024 class, which was rated 29th in college football ahead of Shepard’s commitment, also includes 4-stars Terrance Hibbler (DL) and Josh Flowers (QB), as well as 3-stars Fred Clark (LB), Xavier Gayten (RB), Caleb Dozier (ATH), Matt Mayfield (WR) and Jay Lindsey (TE).
