K.J. Jefferson appeared on SEC Network’s ‘Out of Pocket’ on Wednesday. There was a hypothetical situation involving Jefferson and Takeo Spikes that was brought up.

Spikes played linebacker at Auburn in the late 90’s. At one point in the show, Jefferson was asked he would want to the see the former Auburn LB heading towards him.

Jefferson hilariously that he would be going out of bounds if Spikes was in pursuit.

“Not at all, not at all,” said Jefferson. “If he coming, I’m definitely getting out of bounds. Ain’t no question about it. I’m definitely getting out of bounds.”

Spikes asked Jefferson how much the Razorback QB weighs in response. Spikes would have to tackle Jefferson differently than most.

“K.J., you’re 240, 245? Man, that’s a whole lot coming,” said Spikes. “I’m gonna have to drop down low. I’m gonna have to drop down low.”

Sadly, it looks like fans won’t be able to see what would happen if Spikes attempted to tackle Jefferson. It’s fun to imagine what that would be like.
