KJ Jefferson speaks to offensive struggles, adjustments

After an outstanding offense performance a few weeks ago against LSU, Arkansas struggled on offense against Texas A&M.

The Razorbacks couldn’t get anything going on offense, putting up just 174 yards on the game. KJ Jefferson took a step back after a great game against the Tigers and has just 132 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

But Jefferson knows that there are going to be ups and downs throughout the season, and now he and the Razorbacks are looking to put the game behind them and prepare for another tough game against Ole Miss.

“It’s pretty frustrating at times, knowing we have a lot of talent on the offensive side of the ball,” Jefferson said on ESPN Arkansas. “It’s football though; it’s a roller coaster.”

Now Jefferson and the offense are looking to make the right adjustments. Some of those adjustments are coming on the offensive line, like having Patrick Kutas playing center.

“It’s been good, we made a couple of adjustments upfront, and it’s working pretty well,” Jefferson said. “I tell them we need to take it one play at a time and build that confidence.”

Arkansas will have a chance to make up for the loss if the Razorbacks can get a signature win over Ole Miss this weekend, but the Rebels have all the confidence in the world after taking down LSU last week.
