Auburn receiver Kolbi Fuqua will not be returning to Gus Malzahn’s program

Two months after he entered the NCAA transfer portal, we have a resolution regarding Auburn receiver Kolbi Fuqua.
Fuqua is not listed on Auburn’s updated roster and his decision to enter the transfer portal has officially signaled the end of his career on The Plains. News of his official departure from Gus Malzahn’s program was first reported by Justin Ferguson of The Athletic.
Last season was Fuqua’s first at Auburn and he appeared in only one game, the second game of the season against Alabama State. Fuqua did not register any stats during his lone appearance. The Jasper, Ala. native signed with Auburn as a three-star member of the 2018 recruiting cycle. Fuqua was ASWA First-Team All-State following his sophomore, junior and seniors seasons at Cordova High School.
