Kyle Pitts has notched his first touchdown of the season.

The third year tight end out of Florida made a nice play in the back of the end zone off a dime from Desmond Ridder to give the Atlanta Falcons an early 7-3 lead over the Washington Commanders Sunday afternoon.

The touchdown is the third of his NFL career and could be the confidence booster he needs to get his season in motion. So far this year, Pitts has recorded 208 yards on 18 receptions. He’s having a nice game against the Commanders so far with 18 yards on 2 receptions to go along with his touchdown.

The Falcons are looking for a second-straight win after taking down the Houston Texans in a tight one last week. They’re off to a good start with a 7-3 lead over the Commanders.
