The pick is in, with the first selection in the 2019 NFL Draft, the Arizona Cardinals have selected Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray.

This is the second time Murray has followed in the footsteps of Baker Mayfield as Oklahoma has now had back-to-back Heisman Trophy winners and back-to-back No. 1 overall draft picks in the NFL.

Turns out new Arizona head coach Kliff Kingsbury was telling the truth when he said he’d take Murray with the first pick in the draft if given the chance back in October, well before he was named the Cardinals coach.
