Lane Kiffin has a big test ahead of him against Georgia on the road.

The Ole Miss head coach knows the challenge of facing the dominant Bulldogs. He’s seen Georgia steamroll through competition for the past 3 seasons.

“Obviously a big challenge this week, they’re playing really well,” Kiffin said during the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday. “Go play the No. 1 team in the country for a number of years. I can’t remember what the stat is they’re 40 something, 42-1 or something like that the last 43 games.”

Kiffin knows that the task becomes even harder having to play Georgia on the road at night, but he’s embracing that challenge and he knows his team has nothing to lose.

“It’s a challenge, to play there, to play at night,” Kiffin said. “So kind of feel like nobody gives us a shot, which is a good way sometimes. I relate it to playing with house money, what do you got to lose, nobody expects you to win.”

A win over Georgia would be huge for Ole Miss. The Rebels are inside the top-10 of the CFP rankings, and a few shakeups inside the top-10 plus a win over Georgia could change the course of their entire season.

Ole Miss and Georgia will battle it out at 7 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
