Saturday’s game between Ole Miss and Alabama will receive plenty of attention. It’s a battle between a pair of possible Heisman Trophy contenders in Matt Corral and Bryce Young on CBS, while fans won’t forget the offensive shootout between the 2 teams last year in Oxford.
And with a win, the Rebels will grab an early advantage over the Crimson Tide in the SEC West race.
However, in Athens, a big top 10 battle is brewing between No. 2 Georgia and No. 8 Arkansas. The Bulldogs look to push toward a College Football Playoff appearance while the surprising Razorbacks can continue a dream season under Sam Pittman.
And Athens, not Tuscaloosa is where ESPN’s “College GameDay” will set up shop before the Dawgs and Hogs kick off on the network at noon ET. The early kickoff has frustrated both Georgia and Arkansas fans, while the fact that GameDay is in Athens has upset Alabama and Ole Miss fans.
Lane Kiffin took to Twitter to provide his reaction, and while he only needed an emoji to get his thoughts across, it’s clear where he stands. And he could very well have a point.

Alabama has a 5-game winning streak in the head-to-head matchup, scoring an average of 59.6 points against the Rebels in that span.
