Lane Kiffin responds to Katy Perry’s request of him being the College GameDay guest picker

Lane Kiffin had a quick response to Katy Perry’s proclamation that he would be the guest picker today on College GameDay.
Here is what the Ole Miss coach tweeted before his announced appearance:

Kiffin had teased his Twitter audience for much of the week that Perry, who has no strong connection to Ole Miss and was born in California, would be in the guest picker for College GameDay. Now, it will be Kiffin instead of Perry, according to an announcement on the show.
Perry last took part as a guest picker on College GameDay in 2014. Kiffin’s inclusion in the broadcast is thought to be the first time that a coach involved in an upcoming game will be the guest picker. Ole Miss hosts Texas A&M at 7 p.m. EST today. Both teams are 7-2.
