Lane Kiffin urges Alabama fans to relax amid concern over new coordinator hires

Lane Kiffin used to be Alabama’s offensive coordinator before he returned to the ranks of college football head coaches.
Many Alabama fans were disappointed with the coordinator searches in Tuscaloosa this offseason, as OC Bill O’Brien and DC Pete Golding were replaced by Tommy Rees and Kevin Steele, respectively.
Well, Kiffin has a message for those folks who were disappointed. As Kiffin pointed out on Twitter on Monday morning, Alabama still has Nick Saban. The legendary coach just put together the No. 1 recruiting class in the 2023 cycle:
The ? just signed the #1 Recruiting class with no coordinators!! Relax @AlabamaFTBL https://t.co/vO9MvQCYr2

Fans will certainly be watching the Rees/Steele tandem closely, but the good news is that those new coordinators will have plenty of talent to work with on Alabama’s star-studded roster.
Can the Tide get back to the College Football Playoff and win the SEC West in 2023? If not, we might hear even more grumbling about the coordinators ahead of the 2024 campaign at Alabama.
