Lane Kiffin’s son, Knox, has been a consistent presence on the Ole Miss sidelines since his father took the Rebels’ job. But the high school sophomore is looking to make a name for himself on the gridiron.

Knox spent his freshman year at a high school in California. But after he and his mother moved to Mississippi in the summer, he enrolled at Oxford High School, where he’s a quarterback recruit in the class of 2028.

On Friday, Knox scored his first touchdown with his new team. He ended a drive late in the second quarter with a short touchdown run as Oxford extended its lead over Lafayette.

Here’s video of the younger Kiffin’s TD:

According to 247Sports, the 6-foot-2, 170-pound Kiffin has 6 FBS offers: Arkansas State, ECU, FIU, Georgia State, SMU, and Western Kentucky. He’s also pulled in a couple of FCS offers from Murray State and Sacramento State. While he isn’t the most decorated recruit in his class, his last name alone will garner some attention nationwide.

With his latest high school game behind him, Knox will undoubtedly be in attendance at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium on Saturday evening as Lane Kiffin‘s 17th-ranked Rebels will face Arkansas under the lights.
