LaNorris Sellers unfortunately had to leave the game against LSU.
The quarterback suffered a leg injury near the end of the 1st half and wasn’t on the field for the team’s first possession of the second half. Sellers was seen with tape on his lower leg and was limping on the sideline before halftime.
Shane Beamer didn’t rule out Sellers’ return, but the QB seemed to be in obvious pain.
Looks like LaNorris Sellers is trying to play, but he’s definitely in pain.
Was testing out his ankle on the sideline and tried running (at what looked like 50%).
He got about 10 yards and then hobbled, pounding a football on the ground in frustration

However, ESPN’s Holly Rowe reported that Sellers was “going to try and play” in the 2nd half:
Holly Rowe on ABC just now says LaNorris Sellers’ ankle is heavily taped up but he’s limping: “He is going to try to play. They’re just not sure how much he can do.”

Robby Ashford got the snaps at QB for the 1st drive of the 2nd half, but the Gamecocks went 3-and-out.
Once the Gamecocks got the ball back, however, Sellers returned to the field.
On the team’s 2nd drive of the half, Sellers handed the ball off twice and then completed a 1-yard pass. The Gamecocks were again forced to punt and are holding on to a 2-point lead entering the 4th quarter.
Ashford then returned to the field for South Carolina’s third series of the half.
South Carolina has seen its double-digit lead over LSU evaporate in the second half. The Tigers have scored 14 points in the second half while South Carolina has managed just 1 total yard on its first 2 drives after the break.
