Laquon Treadwell was a first-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, going to the Minnesota Vikings.

Now, the former Ole Miss star has a contract in place for the upcoming 2022 campaign.

After spending the 2021 season with the Jacksonville Jaguars, it seems Treadwell did enough to entice the team’s front office to keep him around. The Jaguars announced they’d re-signed Treadwell on Monday:

Last year, Treadwell appeared in 12 games for Jacksonville, making 7 starts. He recorded 33 catches for 434 yards (a career-high) and 1 touchdown.

He has also spent time with the Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons during his career. We’ll see if he can improve on last year’s numbers in 2022 in Jacksonville.
