Latest AP Top 25 Poll released: Kentucky jumps back into the rankings

Kentucky will be ranked as we head into the final week of the regular season.

The latest AP Top 25 college basketball poll was released Monday and three SEC teams were among the 25 programs ranked: Auburn, Tennessee and the Wildcats.

For the second week in a row, Auburn fell in the rankings, while Tennessee moved up for the first time in a week.

Here are the three teams from the SEC that made it into the latest AP poll:

#14 – Auburn (24-5); #12 last week

#16 – Tennessee (21-7); #19 last week

#23 — Kentucky (20-9); Not ranked last week

#1 Virginia, #2 Michigan State, #3 Xavier, #4 Villanova, #5 Duke, #6 Kansas, #7 Gonzaga, #8 Purdue, #9 North Carolina, #10 Cincinnati, #11 Wichita State, #12 Texas Tech, #13 Ohio State, #15 Michigan, #17 Rhode Island, #18 Clemson, #19 Arizona, #20 West Virginia, #21 Nevada, #22 Saint Mary’s, #24 Middle Tennessee, #25 Houston.
