Laura Rutledge’s daughter, Reese, has become a household name in the SEC thanks to her weekly picks.

This time, she takes on the Rose Bowl between Alabama and Michigan.

“This is the Rose Bowl, the granddaddy of them all,” she said. “Mama, who’s the granddaddy?”

“I think this is going to be the best game of the year,” she said. “… Do you think Coach Harbaugh would talk to me? I think this game’s going to be really good.”

Then Reese proceeded to put on the Alabama helmet.

“Roll Tide!”

Reese also picked Alabama in the SEC Championship Game even though she liked both teams.

There’s plenty of storylines in this game between a pair of mega brands in college football.

Nick Saban has won 6 national championships at Alabama, establishing the current standard in college football. Jim Harbaugh has completely remade his alma mater, and reached 3 straight College Football Playoffs at Michigan with style and controversy. This season, Harbaugh has been suspended for 6 games for recruiting violations and allegations of sign stealing.
