Texas A&M received some tough news from the recruiting trail just 3 days before the beginning of the Early Signing Period.

Kaci Seegars, an outside linebacker from Hough High School near Charlotte, has announced that he would re-open his recruitment. He posted the news to his Twitter account on Sunday evening.

According to 247Sports, Seegars is a 3-star recruit. He had pledged to Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies on Apr. 29.

Seegars will sign with the school of his choice when the traditional signing period begins with National Signing Day on Feb. 3. The Aggies were his lone SEC offer among 16 offers total.

Texas A&M has the No. 13 recruiting class in the country according to 247Sports, ranking as the No. 5 class in the SEC. Last year, the Aggies’ 2020 class was slotted No.6 nationally and No. 4 in the conference.
