Lee Corso remains one of the big stars of college football season.
This could be the last year that the 87-year-old analyst is part of the ESPN College Gameday crew. If it is you better believe he’s going to be receiving a lot of love from fans across the nation and the “Sunshine Scooter” is more than happy to reciprocate.
SINow’s Ross Dellenger reports:
Lee Corso removed his ear pieces, stepped off the GameDay set and walked toward a fan holding a poster that read “my mom loves Lee Corso!”
He signed the poster, posed for a photo and shook hands.

College Gameday is doing a special live Thursday show at Acrisure Stadium before tonight’s Pittsburgh-West Virginia clash. From there ESPN’s traveling show heads to Columbus, Ohio for the Ohio State-Notre Dame game.
Wherever the show goes this season, expect Corso to be the main attraction.
