Lee Corso is making his 400th headgear pick on ESPN’s College GameDay on Saturday ahead of the Colorado-Colorado State game.
It has been an emotional show thus far, with plenty of tributes to Corso and his career on the popular ESPN pregame show.
As you might expect, social media is also blowing up with tributes to Coach Corso, with people praising the impact he’s had on their college football fandoms.
Here’s a look at some of the reaction from the internet on Saturday morning:
Wow, my allergies are getting the best of me after watching this segment. Love Corso and his headgear picks. National treasure. https://t.co/GhIXiVN7eG

Not really a fan of the pre-game shows for pretty much any sport. Gameday is no exception. Not saying there isn't good stuff there, there's just quite a bit of not-so-good.
Saying that, there's one thing I always watch: Corso's headgear picks.

If you’re hungover on a Saturday morning, Corso putting on the headgear always brings you right back to life. It’s medicinal. https://t.co/jZ1og9klTj

By far the best segment of a pregame show ever. Corso caught lightning in a bottle and made it work. It reflects the passion, the corniness and the love of its sport so well. I’d always flip to ESPN at 1155. https://t.co/usQWLrvuDY

Corso has been a fixture on television on Saturday mornings in the fall. He has a special bond with fellow GameDay analyst Kirk Herbstreit and the rest of the crew. How many more headgear picks he’ll make remains to be seen, but there will never be another Lee Corso on GameDay.
Who will he pick on Saturday? Will he pick the favored Buffaloes? We’ll find out soon enough!
