When the Jacksonville Jaguars selected former LSU RB Leonard Fournette with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, he was expected to contribute to the squad immediately.

However, it appears he’s made an even bigger impact than expected and could have a huge role this fall.

According to an unofficial depth chart the Jaguars released on Friday (via Jaguars.com), Fournette is already one of three co-starters at running back, along with Chris Ivory and former Alabama RB T.J. Yeldon.

There are still a few weeks left before the start of the regular season, but it seems Fournette will have plenty of opportunities to earn playing time throughout the preseason.

The Jaguars’ first preseason game is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 10, against the New England Patriots. Fournette will likely get a handful of carries during that contest to show what he’s capable of.
