Leonard Fournette has been a big factor in the rushing attack for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers the past 2 years, winning a Super Bowl with the squad following the 2020 campaign.
Now, it appears he’ll be sticking around in Tampa for a few more years.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Fournette is signing a 3-year deal to remain with the Bucs:
The deal includes $9 million guaranteed and could reach $24 million with incentives, sources told ESPN.
In 2 years with the Buccaneers, Fournette has amassed 1,179 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns. He’s added 105 catches for 687 yards and 2 scores as a receiver.
QB Tom Brady is returning for 1 more year in Tampa, too, so the Bucs should be in the mix for another Super Bowl berth this fall.
