This is big news in the NFL.

Former LSU RB Leonard Fournette was deactivated Sunday after he “violated a team rule.”

Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone released a statement about Fournette.

“Leonard Fournette is not playing in today’s game due to an infraction of a team rule,” he said in a statement. “This has been addressed internally and further details will not be made public.”

Fournette has exploded onto the scene during his rookie season, rushing for 596 yards and six TDs.

The Jaguars drafted Fournette with the No. 4 overall pick this past spring.
