Sterling was confronted by police after a complaint about him pointing a gun at someone outside the convenience store where he was selling CDs. A cellphone video shows Sterling being tackled, officers spotting his weapon and shooting him within seconds. The controversial shooting has become a national story.
Florida CB Jalen Tabor was vocal in his outrage over the conduct by Baton Rouge police. At this time, Fournette’s Twitter feed shows only the photo without comment.
