Three-star athlete Lanard Fournette, the brother of current LSU running back Leonard Fournette, committed to the Tigers over the weekend, the 18th pledge to the 2015 class.
Lanard doesn’t come to Baton Rouge with the can’t-miss qualities of his five-star older sibling, but has room to grow in the backfield and is considered a potential threat down the road. The New Orleans native had offers from Alabama, Miami and Tulane.
The addition of Fournette pushes LSU into the Top 10 nationally for this year’s incoming haul according to 247Sports’ team ranking composite.
