Known as an elite recruiter, LSU head coach Les Miles must not have made the full pitch to his son Ben, as the three-star Baton Rouge fullback has committed to Nebraska despite holding a scholarship offer from the Tigers.
Ben Miles announced his commitment via Twitter Sunday afternoon:

The younger Miles, listed at 6-foot-1, 210-pound, is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and the nation’s No. 2 fullback prospect. Miles also held offers from Boston College, Michigan State, Navy and Purdue.
Considering the Tigers will often use a fullback in Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron’s system, it may surprise many that Ben would not go with LSU. However the Tigers already have a highly regarded fullback committed to the 2017 class in Tory Carter and are projected to have as many as six fullbacks on the roster next season.
