Le’Veon Moss briefly departed Texas A&M’s Week 9 battle with LSU due to an “upset stomach,” per a report.

That news was shared late in the first half by ABC play-by-play announcer Chris Fowler. Moss was able to return late in the first half after missing the majority of the second quarter due to the ailment.

Moss was arguably Texas A&M’s best offensive player in the first half. He scored the Aggies’ only touchdown before the break and rushed for 54 yards on 9 carries. He also caught 1 pass for 11 yards.

Moss only had 2 carries in the second quarter, presumably due to this illness. The first one went for 8 yards with 8:14 left on the clock in the second quarter. His next carry didn’t come until there was just 1:39 remaining in the half — shortly after Fowler’s original report.

Texas A&M will hope to have his services in the second half as the Aggies try to mount a double-digit comeback effort. Texas A&M has not been efficient in the passing game before the break as Conner Weigman threw for just 49 yards on 13 pass attempts.

Here’s video from Moss’ touchdown earlier in the game:

LSU leads Texas A&M 17-7 at the half.
