In case you thought Texas A&M’s day couldn’t get worse, Aggies running back Le’Veon Moss was forced out of Saturday’s game against Miami, having apparently re-aggravated his ankle injury.

The Texas A&M running back has missed most of the season with an ankle injury, but finally worked his way back to be available for Saturday’s game against the Hurricanes. However, in the third quarter Moss got caught in a pile while converting a first down. He was seen limping to the locker room with a towel over his head soon after.

No word has been given from Texas A&M on Moss’s status for the remainder of Saturday’s CFP matchup:

As mentioned, Moss was injured on a first down conversion, but he had been mostly quite leading up to that play. Moss exited the field with 7 carries for 15 yards and 1 reception for 5 yards.

Of course, not much Texas A&M has been doing offensively has worked out against this Miami Hurricanes defense. The Aggies only have 64 yards rushing as we enter the start of the 4th quarter, and Texas A&M has yet to score points with just 14 minutes to play.

We’ll update this story if an official update on Moss’s status is posted.
