Lewis Cine was 1 of several Georgia defenders to be drafted in Round 1 of the 2022 NFL Draft, going to the Minnesota Vikings.

He was playing for the Vikings against the New Orleans Saints in London on Sunday morning when he suffered a serious injury.

Playing on a punt return play Cine suffered a scary injury and was carted off the field shortly thereafter with his leg in an air cast:

Hopefully, Cine is able to return to the field at some point, whether that’s this year, in 2023 or beyond. Cine entered Sunday’s game without having recorded any stats yet, though he was contributing on special-teams units.
