Lincoln Riley is determined to get it right at USC.
Riley spoke on TrojansLive Monday night to discuss USC’s season and preparation for the opening of the transfer portal, not to mention the ongoing search for a new DC and more.
The USC head coach was at one point asked if he still has the desire to coach at Southern Cal. His answer was affirming: “I’m ready to be here through the peaks and the valleys to get it right, and we are going to get it right.”

Several people around the country championed the Trojans and reigning Heisman winner Caleb Williams as a potential College Football Playoff team, a dream that was quickly extinguished with the look at Alex Grinch’s defense.
It’s not that the Trojans are lacking talent on the defensive end. But the tackling and physicality simply was not there this season.
And it shows on the box scores across the Trojans’ 7-5 record: A 48-41 win over Colorado, a 50-49 win over Cal, a 48-20 loss to Notre Dame and a 52-42 loss to Washington. USC opponents averaged nearly 35 points per game this season.
USC now awaits its bowl matchup while preparing for the future of the program on the recruiting trail.
