LISTEN: Alabama LB Dylan Moses explains emotions after returning to hometown, beating LSU
Alabama players certainly took a lot of pride in extending their winning streak against LSU last Saturday, but it probably meant something extra to Dylan Moses.
As a Baton Rouge native who originally committed to the Tigers while attending University Laboratory School on LSU’s campus, Moses was fired up for a chance to play in front of his family and friends. He seemed to relish the No. 1 Crimson Tide’s 29-0 win in Tiger Stadium, as he explained to Sirius XM’s Carter Bryant in the audio clip below.

“It was a great feeling, coming home and being around my friends, family and all of that,” Moses told Bryant. “I always wanted to play in front of all of them. Now I’m on the opposing team, playing for Bama — best team in the SEC, best team in the country. It’s an overwhelming feeling.”
Moses played key role in Alabama’s shutout with six total tackles, tied for second-most on the team, and half a tackle for loss. The No. 3 Tigers gained only 196 total yards — and only 12 of those on ground — against Moses and the rest of the swarming Crimson Tide defense.
