When LSU players were called in for a team meeting Sunday afternoon, they already knew the news.
LSU’s decision to fire coach Les Miles dominated the day’s news cycle, starting with early reports that a change could be coming in the immediate future. Miles and AD Joe Alleva met with the team to confirm the news in person, and it was very emotional for all involved.
Tigers SID Michael Bonnette was at the meeting and provided a recap for the team’s SoundCloud page.
Players spoke to members of the media after the meeting.
