With 14 SEC teams recruiting in many of the same areas, many players recognize each other when they become conference rivals squaring off on Saturdays. While it’s commonplace for players from schools within the SEC footprint, it’s not as common with players from Hawaii. But that will be the case this Saturday night when No. 1 Alabama hosts No. 3 LSU.
Saturday night in Death Valley, LSU DE Breiden Fehoko and fellow Hawaiian Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa will be on the field for many of the same plays. Twitter user @Autele808 shared a photo that it wasn’t too long ago they were just two campers trying to impress college teams.

Fehoko spoke to the media this week and shared high praise for his familiar foe. He said he could remember Tagovailoa win MVP awards at camps as a sixth grader competing with high school players.
