LOOK: Buy one, get one Oxford promo failed miserably as Egg Bowl features sparse crowd

Ole Miss did what it could to sell out Vaught Hemingway Stadium for the season finale against Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl, even offering buy one, get one tickets for the Thanksgiving night game, but not even that did much to get Rebel fans out on the holiday.
Apparently, not even the last game in this stadium until Sept. 7, 2019, could get fans out to support the 5-6 Rebels.

At the midway point of the game, Mississippi State leads 21-3. Of course, maybe fans didn’t show because they saw this result coming.
