High expectations are a part of life for football in Baton Rouge, and fans are looking for head coach Ed Orgeron to do big things with the LSU Tigers.
Orgeron originally came to LSU as a defensive line coach for Les Miles. He was promoted to interim head coach after Miles was fired, and the school decided to stick with him following the big 54-39 Thanksgiving Day win over Texas A&M to close out the regular season.
LSU shutout BYU 27-0 in its first game of the 2017 season and the Tigers are set for their home opener Saturday evening. LSU Football released a preview of the first game program of the season on Twitter, and the cover is none other than Orgeron.
