It’s a good thing for Western Michigan that college football season is still quite a few Saturdays away.

A photo shared by WOOD-TV meteorologist Ellen Bacca showing Waldo Stadium field underwater is going viral on Twitter. Some college football fans may remember that Western Michigan was where P.J. “Row the Boat” Fleck coached before leaving for Minnesota. Unfortunately for Western Michigan, Fleck took the motto and all the associated gear with him to Minnesota.

Heavy rain in the area had several West Michigan counties under a National Weather Service moderate flood advisory until 11:15 p.m. Thursday. The field previously flooded in October 2017.
