The Atlanta Falcons drafted a playmaker in former Alabama WR Calvin Ridley with the No. 26 pick overall Thursday night.

Ridley will team up with former Alabama star Julio Jones to form one of the NFL’s most dominant receiving duos. He commented on joining Jones Thursday night.

Alabama fans, however, will have to get used to seeing Ridley making plays not wearing his No. 3 jersey. On Friday, Ridley tweeted out his new No. 18 uniform for the Falcons.

In his three-year career at Alabama, Ridley caught 224 passes for 2,781 yards and 19 TDs, and while that may not seem like a lot of production for a first-round pick, Ridley’s best years are certainly ahead of him. Defensive coordinators will have to pick their poison: Julio or Calvin.

Good luck.
