LOOK: Feleipe Franks claps back at Desmond Howard on Instagram after Des picked Canes over Gators

As the headlining Week 0 contest, Florida-Miami was the featured game for Saturday’s edition of ESPN’s “College GameDay.”
When it came time to pick the game, Desmond Howard picked the Hurricanes to upset the Gators. Word of Howard’s pick apparently got back to Florida QB Feleipe Franks. In a Sunday evening Instagram post, Franks uploaded a photo of his rushing touchdown. He tagged Howard in the post, which reads, “Alpha Dog ? 🤷🏽♂️. Pain done built up..”
The post is already popular with Florida fans and got the attention of former SEC players Quincy Wilson (Florida) and Mack Wilson (Alabama):

At the time he made the pick, Howard speculated that the Gators would take the Hurricanes lightly. It appears his comments gave the Florida quarterback some extra motivation on Saturday night.
