Former LSU players Leonard Fournette and Jamal Adams go way back. Now, they are living out their high school dreams.
The two played together for three years in college after committing to LSU on the same day at the 2014 Under Armour All-American Game, according to a New York Post article.
On Sunday, Adams and Fournette met up on the field again, this time on opposing teams when the New York Jets beat the Jacksonville Jaguars 23-20 at Metlife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J.
Fournette, who is the Jags’ leading running back, tweeted about the special moment meeting up with Adams, who is now a safety for the Jets:
PRoud moment for me because we talked about this when we committed in high school, love always from 7 to 33 @TheAdams_era Brother4Life pic.twitter.com/wLd5N0lMzg
