LOOK: Frustrated Auburn fans take to Twitter over continued offensive struggles

Gus Malzahn and the Auburn Tigers have not had a great couple of weeks.
Auburn is coming off a loss to Clemson in the worst offensive performance of the Malzahn era, and the Tigers are currently locked in a close battle with the Mercer Bears. This is not how Auburn fans thought this season was going to turn out behind new OC Chip Lindsey and incoming QB Jarrett Stidham.
The offense managed just 117 yards a week ago against Clemson, and Auburn is somehow managing to struggle against Mercer with just 10 points in the first half. Fans are getting antsy with the recent offensive struggles under Malzahn. Many fans took to Twitter to vent frustrations Saturday evening.
I remember when watching #Auburn play offense was fun. @AUFAMILY this continues to be embarrassing even against Mercer.

I would buy that Auburn is suffering some "hangover" from last week if the offense wasn't having the exact same issues it had a week ago.

So Auburn did implement a new offense. The run run pass offense

Auburn's offense looks exactly the way it did a year ago around this time.
Stagnant.
