Arkansas didn’t waste any time in parting ways with coach Bret Bielema following the loss to Missouri.
It came moments after the game.
Bielema finished 29-34 during his tenure, which culminated with a 4-8 season in 2017.
Bielema told reporters that he got the news that he was fired as he was coming off the field Friday, but it was later learned that he was informed in his game-day office.
“Obviously, everybody’s probably like, ‘Woo, they got him right after that (loss),’ but I’d much rather have it this way than think about it,” he said.
