This spring, former Florida QB Tim Tebow is in spring training with the New York Mets, continuing his quest to reach the major leagues.

In three games this spring, however, Tebow has had six at-bats and has yet to record a hit, striking out twice and getting hit by a pitch once.

Now, he’s received an offer to help from former MLB slugger Jose Canseco — one of the big names attached to the steroid scandal in baseball. As you can see below, Canseco offered to help Tebow with his swing for free:

Steroid accusations aside, Canseco was quite a hitter in the big leagues, slugging 462 homers in his 17-year MLB career.

If Tebow continues to struggle at the plate, he may have to take Canseco up on his offer. For now, though, he’ll try to fight through it on his own.
