Kansas formally introduced new football coach Les Miles to the Jayhawks fans Saturday at a basketball game. KU made sure to give The Mad Hatter an appropriate introduction.
As you can see in the video below, mascot Big Jay welcomed Miles with a plate of grass. Eating the Tiger Stadium grass was one of the many lovably quirky Miles moments during his 11-plus seasons as LSU’s head coach (2005-16).
Hopefully the college football world is treated to more Miles moments like this one.
