On Monday night, ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit tweeted out his top team performances and player performances from the past week in college football, and of course, some people took issue with them.
Since Herbstreit is a former Ohio State QB, when he puts a Buckeye in his top performers list, it rubs people the wrong way. Herbstreit also doesn’t put Alabama anywhere in his personal list, so that drew some online anger as well.
Here’s Herbstreit’s Week 6 top performers list that got people worked up on Monday night:

One Twitter user brought up that Herbstreit puts Ohio State on his list a lot and not Alabama, and Herby wasn’t having any of it.
You know what annoys me about you and your tweet? Ignorance! I don’t care who Bama played-I can tell they’re pretty good by watching them every week-Shouldn’t be penalized from being the CLEAR #1 team in the country because they’re up by 40 every week BY HALF against inferior opp https://t.co/aqa3obgIFO

Twitter’s right I suppose..Bama must suck. We’re all idiots for thinking they’re really good. ??
Amazing what people think. https://t.co/kLQYAFvPf9— Kirk Herbstreit (@KirkHerbstreit) October 9, 2018
At the end of the day, this is just Herbstreit’s personal list, and it’s understandable why Alabama doesn’t usually make appearances on it. The Crimson Tide is so dominant that we are almost used to their double-digit blowouts, it’s expected at some level.
Tua Tagovailoa doesn’t have a chance to make the top performers list because he doesn’t even get to play in the fourth quarter since his team is so dominant.
Even if he doesn’t show up on Herbstreit’s list all season, it’s not going to stop him from winning the Heisman and another championship.
