K’Lavon Chaisson’s sophomore season was limited to one game as the LSU outside linebacker sustained a torn ACL and will miss the rest of the year, as announced by Tigers coach Ed Orgeron on Tuesday.
It was a huge blow for LSU’s defense and for Chaisson, who was poised to have a big year for the Tigers. The sophomore had five tackles and a sack before exiting during the fourth quarter of Sunday night’s upset win over Miami.
After the news was announced on Tuesday, Chaisson took to Twitter to deliver a heartfelt message to his fans. Take a look below:

LSU will play its first game without Chaisson when it hosts Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET at Tiger Stadium.
