It’s been a brutal year for Louisiana sports fans when it comes to dealing with referees, as LSU LB Devin White was the victim of a controversial targeting call ahead of the Alabama game and the New Orleans Saints were hosed by a non-call on a clear pass-interference penalty.

Watching the game on Sunday in New Orleans was LSU QB Joe Burrow, and his appearance at the game won’t exactly make LSU fans feel better.

As you can see below, Burrow was sporting a sling on his non-throwing arm before the game, but an LSU official said it was nothing serious:

Of course, the official didn’t elaborate on what exactly the injury that Burrow needed fixed was, but it’s good that it’s not serious.

As of now, there’s no reason to think that Burrow won’t be ready for spring football in a couple of months.
