LOOK: LSU releases stats from third scrimmage of the spring

The LSU Tigers have been busy this spring. On Saturday, they held their third scrimmage, and afterward, released the stats from the game.

Though there wasn’t as much passing in Saturday’s scrimmage, it was still a good day for Myles Brennan, the favorite to land the starting job this fall.

As you can see in the tweet below, he completed 10 of his 15 throws for 93 yards, one touchdown and one interception:

In both scrimmages, Nick Brossette had big days on the ground, but coach Ed Orgeron was quick to point out that those numbers were accumulated mostly in staged goal-line situations.

The Tigers’ spring game is next weekend, so fans will get a good look at Brennan and the other quarterbacks then. For now, though, we’ll have to settle for these stats.
