Either something is wrong with Michigan’s Week 1 game roster, or the Wolverines found a major loophole that will allow them to enter the 2017 season with current NFL players on their squad.

From Tom Brady to Jabril Peppers, several generations of former Michigan players were represented on the game notes circulated to media members covering the Wolverines’ season opener against the Florida Gators.

As you can see in the photo below, Michigan does have quite the impressive roster of alums in the NFL, but that won’t help media members on Saturday, Sept. 2:

Obviously, Tom Brady has bigger fish to fry as he and the New England Patriots prepare to defend their Super Bowl LI title this season, so we’ll go out on a limb and say he won’t be suiting up for the Wolverines on Saturday.

Until then, the Florida media members will have to find another way to get their hands on an accurate Michigan roster.

The Wolverines and Gators are set to square off at 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on Saturday, Sept. 2, at AT&T Stadium in Dallas. The game can be seen on ABC.
